Email Setup Problem!!

I just came back to the BB family from the iPhone and I having diffculty setting up my personal email. The problem is it will not give me the choice between internet email or enterprise, it will just take me directly enterpirse email setup. I never have even been presented with the choice before only from watching youtube vids that i know, I have tried to set up though BB Setup and directly linked though the messages app.

Hi & welcome to the community..!!

 

Please go to manage connection > service status > check the status of BIS & let us know.

 

You may check with your carrier as well whether BIS activated on your SIM or not..

Hello pointlessloginname,

 

Do you have BlackBerry data plan? You need sufficient BlackBerry data plan to be able to use your email. Thanks. Contact your service provider.

your right I checked and my Blackberry internet service is says " not connected " so does this mean they did not add on data to my plan because i had data before and i said to them i want everything i had before umlimted text, data and so on.

Yeah, you're right. Please have words with your carrier to add on BIS services.
