Email attachments not going through

I have a 9780. I use 2 Gmail accounts on the bb. For one of the Gmail addresses, when I forward an email with an attachment, the attachment does not go through (just the body of the email).

If I open the "sent message" on the bb, the attachment appears in the sent email, and yet, the recipient does not get the attachment.  However when I check the sent folder in gmail via brower/laptop the attachment is not there.

Again, this is only happening with *one* of the Gmail addresses that I am using. I also have a sympatico address and it forwards attachments fine.

I have tried pulling the battery, resending service books, deleting the misbehaving Gmail address and adding back it again. I have tried "Forward" and "Forward As > Email".
I have followed the instructions in KB10509 and KB05010.

Nothing has worked.

This is very peculiar.  Any suggestions . . . ?
