Email set up difficulties with @yahoo.ca email address

When trying to set up my email on my BB curve, after entering my email address, password and clicking next, I receive the message: 'invalid email address or password. Verify your email address and password. if the error persists, contact yahoo.ca.'


I noticed that in the drop down menu the only option is for a @yahoo.com email address. because mine is a yahoo.ca address I changed it and it allowed me to do so, but I'm wondering if this might have something to do with my problem. I have also tried several password options but still receive the same error message.

I have the same problem. My BB ID is all set on the internet and works when I sign in on a desktop I can go in on the account but if I do it from my phone it says Username and password provided do not correspond to a valid Blackberry ID. I have an email that says it has been set up and there is a Blackberry ID. What now?
