Email setup

Emails were working perfectly until I had to replace my SIM card and I lost my email connection.

I have tried to set this up again but am being asked for a username and password. I have tried my Blackberry ID and email usernames but these do not work. Which username should I be using?

Hi Mukiwa and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums!


Your BlackBerry® ID is linked to your service plan from your wireless provider, which in turn, is associated directly with your SIM card.  When you change your SIM card, you will have to login again with your BlackBerry® ID, however, to do this, you will have to backup your device, then perform a security wipe.  You will be prompted to login again upon the re-boot.
