Please bare with me because this may end up a bit long winded.
A few weeks ago i changed my gmail password (which is linked to my phone) Ever sine then i havent been able to access my emails on my phone, even when i went into setup and tried to change it it just said 'setup failed'
Today i got a replacement handset because i broke my old ones screen. Has happened before and normally setup hasnt been an issue, however this time it still wont let me setup my email which is what has my bbm contact list backed up on it as well.
I am also noticing it just says 'EDGE' by my signal bar and there is no blackberry logo, i dont understand what has gone wrong

Hi and Welcome to the Community!!
I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT
2) Delete and Resend Service Books
3) Batt Pull Reboot
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should try deleting and re-adding your configuration for the affected email accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile service provider for formal support...it is possible that they have not yet fully shifted your services from your old BB to this replacement.
