Encryption Help

I have a 9900 with encryption enabled to "device password".

I updated the operating system and all the pics that were taken under encryption cannot be seen.

All previously taken pics prior to setting the encryption on are still visible.

Any help would be appreciated

Re: Encryption Help

Though I'm not sure if it would matter, was the card in the phone when you updated the OS? And how did you update the OS, did you use DTS and simply load a carrier update? I've never had .rem files become inaccessible when an os update was done that way. As a rule of thumb, if your card was encrypted using the "Device Password" mode, you can take it out, and put it in a different BlackBerry (or even the same Blackberry after a security wipe so long as you didn't wipe the card), and access the card and its encrypted files by entering the password which was used to encrypt the card when prompted to.
