End key, space bar, 9 & 7 keys malfunctioning on Bold 9000

Blackberry Bold 9000. OS Version ( 1GB SD card extra memory)

 End, Spacebar, 9 and 7 Keys don’t work intermittently. The phone starts working again in 12-48 hrs randomly; not sure what triggers the problem and what’s resolving it.   Tried restarting / rebooting (battery removing) the phone, also tried resetting the phone (soft and hard). Have a 1 GB memory card on the device.  

The problem appeared within the first month of purchase, however, is sporadic. I thought it was a user error at first and ignored it a few times, by then the 1 month / 30 day return policy expired. Out of luck!
  AT&T tech helpdesk doesn’t know the root-cause / fix. I have a small scratch- AT&T support says I have to pay full price $499 even to get a replacement with a refurbished device…  Smiley Sad    

Any Suggestions are highly appreciated?

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but I had the same problem with mine.

Your phone is bad and it needs to be either returned or repaired.

I got lucky with mine as it happened within the first 30 days and I was able to exchange it.

Yours should still be under warranty, maybe that is an option.
