Enterprise activation - unable to activate - very frustrated customer!!!!

Greetings.

Just purchased a new 9720 but unable to get my emails up and running. I have a plan via Virgin Mobile and according to their technical dept all is as it should be. However type in my Blackberry ID and Password and the handset says contacting server but that's as far as it gets. Next message says The Blackberry Enterprise server has not responded to your activation request. An error may have occurred.

What do I do now? Virgin are unable to solve the problem.

Why is it so difficult for a private individual to set up the phone?????? Can somebody help me resolve the problem. Thanks

Many thanks for the info and link. Phone is now up and running. Had tried similar this morning so assume the communication between Virgin & Blackberry server has now been resolved.

Much appreciated.
