Epocrates Rx Pro

Just installed Epocrates Rx Pro on my BB Bold.  It works well except Pill Picture doesn't work.  I get a box with a red X in it instead of the picture of the medication.  Contacted support at Epocrates, deleted then reinstalled the program but still no picture.  Any suggestions about what could be wrong?

Re: Epocrates Rx Pro

Has anyone had any experience with Epocrates Rx Pro on the storm yet?  I'm switching form the Palm Centro to the Blackberry Storm and I use this program allot.  Would be nice to know that it works appropriately.

Re: Epocrates Rx Pro

Hi and welcome to the forums!

From the Epocrates Rx Pro website:

"Epocrates Rx is not currently available on the BlackBerry Storm. We are actively working on a compatible version and expect it to be available by early 2009."

Re: Epocrates Rx Pro

OHHHHH son of a &^5$*.

I love being one of the first adaptors..... having the coolest toys, being the envy of all your friends, but man does it suck when you have to wait for all the stuff to be made compatible to your new toy that everyone else has already.  *sigh*

I guess I'm gonna be waiting......

Thanks fro the info.

Re: Epocrates Rx Pro

Hi,

Or you could email the company and see if you could paticipate in a beta test.

Oh thats a very good idea.  Do I just use the regular email address or is there a secret under ground link that I need?  Smiley Happy

Re: Epocrates Rx Pro

Crap, I just got the Storm and wanted to take advantage of the ePocrates Rx Pro free offer. But if it won't be compatible with the Storm until "early 2009", I wonder if the offer will have expired by then.

No wonder when I tried to enter my IMEI on the offer page, it rejected it!

DOH!!!

Re: Epocrates Rx Pro

I should also add this fine print in their offer:

"Register online within 14 days of purchase to receive a free one year subscription for Epocrates Rx PRO"

So, I doubt they'll have a new version ready within 14 days ... make that 4 days, since it took 10 days to get my Storm due to the huge backorder ...

Re: Epocrates Rx Pro

Oh this story just keeps getting better and better....  Epocrates freakin sucks....

Obviously they are doing this promotion to capitalize on the new Blackberrys out...

You'd think they would make sure their software is up to par.

I think I may need to find a new program.  I use Epocrates everyday just about for work and it will suck being without it for god knows how long.

I took your advice as well and asked if they had any beta testing going on,  keep your fingers crossed LOL
