Ereader for Torch

Got several recommendations for Mobireader from BB users.

It installed on my XP PC and recognized the Torch when it was connected.

HOWEVER.

When it tries to install onto the Torch, it gets to "50%" and keeps repeating that "You may need to reboot your RIM Blackberry device. .... Please keep your device connected to the PC during this process."

I've turned it off and on a couple of times and no joy.

What am I missing?

Hey there,

Not sure if you two have come right yet, but you can also browse to http://m.mobipocket.com/ on your phone.

Click on "Download Mobipocket Reader"

Click on "Blackberry"

It will show a message saying something like " your device was not detected" but go ahead and

Click on "Blackberry Storm/9500"

The name is misleading because it works perfectly fine on the Torch.

Re: Ereader for Torch

Hi, Yes that's what i did. I took a chance thinking that it might work since Torch is also touch screen -- for some reason that made sense to me lol. It worked! But i think they should change it to say "Blackberry Storm/9500/Torch 9800" or something.

Thanks for replying
