Erratic Calendar Icon behavior. Please Help

Hi There,


I've been using the Bold 9780(Non camera) for a few months now. and it seems to have a problem with the calendar icon.


Sometimes it will just disappear and leave a blank space. when highlighted at this blank space, the “Calendar” word still appears in the description.


Did a battery pull, and it returns to normal. However, a few days later it will happen again and I have to do a battery pull. Currently running OS 6.0 Bundle 1879.


Any advise for this?

To resolve the issue with the calendar icon on your BlackBerry® Bold™ 9780 smartphone, please try to back up and perform a clean reload of your BlackBerry® Device Software. For further instructions, please see the following KB articles.

Please make sure the issue has been resolved before restoring any data from your backup file.
