When i first received the Torch 9860, it was continuously restarting. Reading the forums, I have performed a wipe and resintallation of the Blackberry software for torch 9860 using the current version and the latest version by AT&T. In all cases, I receive an error 102 when the device is initializing. Then, it starts rebooting over and over.
I have installed the following...
Desktop Manager: 610_b038_multilanguage.exe
Blackberry OS: 9860M_PBr7.0.0_rel2216_PL188.8.131.520_A184.108.40.2060_AT_T
I have tried in different PC's and no luck.
I have used BBSAK to wipe the phone before reinstalling the OS, and no luck.
I'm rockin the BlackBerry DTEK60, Passport, Z30, Z10, Q10, BlackBerry Mini Stereo Speaker, 64 gig PlayBook,BT Headset HS-700

i would try a newer OS and if it fails after that then maybe it is defective
Also try removing the SD and SIM card during the update, have had bad ones do wierd things before.
BESAdmin's, please make a signature with your BES environment info.
BES 12 and BES 5.0.4 with Exchange 2010 and SQL 2012 Hyper V
