Error 200

I have just tried to connect my blackberry 9780 to my pc and the desktop software told me that my software needed updating.  I agreed to the update and it has now created a Error 200 message on a white screen.  I have taken the battery out and rebooted several times but it keeps coming up with the same message.  The blackberry now wont connect to my PC to allow me to try and of the software re boots people are suggesting on the form site.  I have tried taking the batery out and connecting as some of the ideas suggeest, but it still wont connect?  any ideas?

In this case you should apply a wipe, factory reset and wipe, followed this by updating your blackberry via Loader.
