I'm also from South Africa and have tried Bifocals' advice, but even that won't work as the error message jumps up before I can change anything. Please help!

I mean, if I HAD ANOTHER PHONE to use, my BB would have been thrown against the wall. It's really not cool. I love a whole lot of other functions with my BB, and I really bust my A to get a BB, but ever since I got it, it's been one issue after the next...grrrrr. But i still think all in all she's a good phone, just the App World stuff is driving me bonkers and the odd problem with BBM

Everytime I open my App World it asks to install BB indentity update, when I select "yes" it shows "BlackBerry Indentity installation failed. Please try again later. (80003)". I have a Curve 8520 (Vodacom), os 5.

I had the same problem for the pass few months and decided to resolve this with Vodacom.
They suggested I do the following:
Step 1. Go to Options
Step 2. Go to Advance Options
Step 3. Go to " Host Routing table"
Make sure you register both the Wi-Fi Connection " Click on Blackeberry icom and " Register Now"
Do the same with your GPRS setting ( GPRS ZA ( 655)
Step 4. Go Back to Advance Options
Step 5. Go to TCP/IP
Activate APN Settings Enabled ( block should be ticked)
Step 6. Deselect APN Authentication Enabled ( block should not be ticked)
Step 7. Go Back and save information
This procedure worked on my BB Curve 8520, hope it helps you.
