Error Code: 0x8004fd2b

I recently installed the latest version of blackberry desktop mgr, and now I am getting an error:

Error Encountered. Error Code- 0x8004fd2b.

Check Documentation

Of course, there is nothing like this in the doc.  ANyone have any ideas.  The thing actually worked for a few days, then started this.

Thanks!

Re: Error Code: 0x8004fd2b

  1. Close the BlackBerry Desktop Manager application.
  2. Disconnect the BlackBerry device from the computer.
  3. Double Click on My Computer> Local Disk (c>Documents and Settings>(username)>Application Data>Research In Motion>Blackberry>Intellisync
    • Note: If the Application Data folder is not present, click Tools>Folder Options at the top of the screen.
    • Click the View Tab, then click on Show Hidden Files and Folders.
    • Click Apply>Ok and continue through the remaining steps.
  4. Delete everything within the Intellisync folder.
  5. Launch BlackBerry Desktop Manager and attempt sync the device with the computer.

Re: Error Code: 0x8004fd2b

I unhide files, found the Research in Motion/Blackberry, but there is NO Intellisync file there.  Any suggestions?  This has been syncing just fine until yesterday.  I uninstalled the desktop manager and reinstalled it again, and still getting the same error message.  I am getting frustrated!

Re: Error Code: 0x8004fd2b

Try doing a search for the folder, it may be located somewhere else.

Mine was located under s: drive where I install mysoftware... There was a Research in Motion/Blackberry folder on both c: and s:but only the folder on the s: drive contained the Intellisync folder.
