Error Code

I'm an honest to goodness 'wrinkly'. I have a contract with Orange and a Bold 9700. The wife normally has the phone (in case of breakdown on the way to work; she knows 'squat' and I'mm little better. Had the phone a year or two, can't find any supporting system software (if we had it) or leads and now we have a  JVM error 517. Help please ( don't think I have enough years left to live to wade through more than 1200 pages of threads).

If you are getting the JVM error 517 then please try to Reload your Device Software using BlackBerry Desktop Software , for help please try this Knowledge Base :
