I bought a Blackberry Bold few months ago, and I was doing update installations when my laptop turned off accidentally. Since then, when I turn on my blackberry, It doesn't show the regular screen. It shows a white screen with the following text:
BlackBerry Platform 220.127.116.11, Options, Saved Messages. and when I click on Options, I get this error message
Error Startingnet net_rim_bb_options_app:Module'net_rim_bb_spellcheck' not found.
What should I do? I really need my phone back. :-( PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks for any of your suggestion.
I tried: pull battery out, uninstall the Desktop Manager, and soft reset, and it still doesn't work. :'-(

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
It sounds as if your device OS update didn't complete. You should start over...see this article:

thanks for very fast reply. :-) I tried that before but when I'm on step#3, it doesn't show the options to install in the Application Loader Wizard page..
"The BlackBerry Desktop Software does not have
BlackBerry Device Software for the device that
you have connected to the computer. Contact
your wireless service provider or system administrator."
So, I need to contact the wireless service provider? I bought my BB from online store as an unlock phone. :-(

Ahhh...special case then. What you need to do is obtain the OS that you want:
And then use the JL_Cmdr utility to wipe out what is on your device:
And then you should be able to install your OS again.
Good luck...and this can be very tricky...be very patient with yourself as well as your devices...

Finally, my phone is back! :-D but I lost all pictures and songs that I didn't back up. However, I'm so glad that I get my baby back.
You are right about being very patient. I decided to ask my bf for a hand. I really appreciate your help.
