Re: Error id: 50101

Got the same message as well and it sucks.  I can't download anything from App World and can't listen to Grooveshark .  Sent an email to Blackberry but didn't get an answer yet.  Hope someone can help us.

Re: Error id: 50101

I had the same problem after upgrading my App world.

Try installing the entire thing (App world installation plus the Identity part) using Wifi.  It worked for me fine !!

Re: Error id: 50101

Hi, sorry can you just clarify how you did this? I'm getting the same error. Do you have to delete the app world and reinstall and how do you do this using wifi? Also, what is the identity part?! sorry to ask so many questions but I can't find anywhere how to fix this problem!

Re: Error id: 50101

as stated above, uninstall the AppWorld application completely.

you can do this by going to settings>applications

delete AppWorld, then restart your phone.

Once your phone is turned back on, turn off your network services and turn on wi-fi connectivity.

using wi-fi connect to the internet and go to BB website, search for AppWorld, download and install.

this solution worked for me.

Been reading these solutions and what to do if you have one of the Tour 9630 that Verizon contracted without wifi? This may be the root of ALL my problems

Re: Error id: 50101

You can delete and reinstall App World with the Desktop Software too, if you have access to a computer.

That way you can make a full back-up file before you start messing with the native apps, which can come in handy.

Cheers
