Error on start up on my Bold

I have a Bold on Orange UK and have started to get an error message when i start up my handset from being turned off it says

uncaught exception 2 >> Any ideas what this means ?

With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

 

See if that error continues.

I have tried doing that reset but I still get the same error and now the phone keeps crashing on a daily basis

Usually that indicates that reloading the OS would be the next step to fix the problem. Have you tried that yet?
