Hello everyone. Hopefully someone can help with this issue IM having. I recently switched from the curve 8330 to the bold 9650 on sprint's network. everytime I try to watch a youtube video on my phone i get a error mssg "an error has occurred attempting to play media" it happens every single time I try to watch a video on any given website. But when IM connected via wifi the video plays flawlessly. Someone please help before I start launching my phone at the wall.

Now I realize this page says 'unlocked' but try anyways as it is still giving the same error for the same reason. Let me know how it goes!

yeah i read the link. thanks. for the first option i think its correct. it says apn settings are enabled but the fields are blank.
as far as the WAP settings to prompt. i dont even have those options when i go into the browser options. all i have is closing browser on escape - checked
closing modified pages - checked
running WML scripts - not checked.
any other suggestions

if the fields are blank, then you dont have the APN settings in the phone. I would recommend calling your carrier to get the settings that they use.

im on hold with technical support now. lets see what bright ideas they have. also when looking at other posts i see sprint doesnt use apn settings. will keep everyone posted

Workaround that works for me (Curve 8530, Spint):
Start playing video from YouTube link.
After video begins, hit Blackberry button.
Hit escape key to resume video.
The rest of the video should play normally.
