Re: Excel File Transfer (Mac)

Right now there isn't any sync-type way to transfer it on a Mac except by copying it directly to your microSD card.

Your other option is to e-mail it to yourself, and save it on your Bold.

But there isn't any direct sync method right now on a Mac. BB has stated they should have a Mac-based desktop manager by early 2009. haven't heard anything since that announcement a few months ago.

I'm in the same boat, and Macs and Blackberries to not play well together.

There are two 3rd party options available for syncing.

PocketMac for Blackberry, available for free from blackberry.com, DOES NOT support the Bold.

MissingSync from markspace.com, is 39.00 and does not fully support the Bold. It is okay for syncing calendars, notes, and tasks. Contacts are corrupted on the Bold sync. See the other Mac thread we have going.

If you by any chance try MissingSync, there is a FILE sync option -- if it in any way shape or form works for you, report back and let us know, but most users say it doesn't work.

Re: Excel File Transfer (Mac)

Hi Ron,

Thanks for the quick response.  I see that its a wait and see thing right now.

I think i can wait till RIM comes up with something better.

Thanks once again.
