Excel formatting to work on a Blackberry device

I created a small and simple spreadsheet (via MS Excel) for auto-calcuation function for my Blackberry Torch (v.6).

I want to figure out on how to make the keyboard work with the numeric keypad instead of the letters when I input number(s) into the cell. I tried using the data validation option via Excel but it does nothing on my BB.

Does anyone know how to do a function command or a format command that will invoke the numeric keypad when I am in the numeric cell?

Let me know.

Re: Excel formatting to work on a Blackberry device

Hey nkbabson,

Welcome to the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.

To turn on NUM lock,  Press the Alt key and the Left Shift key. To turn off NUM lock, press the Left Shift key or Right Shift key.

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks
