F-S1 Battery

My Blackberry battery has been acting faulty all day today.

It dropped from 60% to 8%. Once it died I plugged the charger in. It rebooted then it displayed a 77% battery level. I left the charger in. I later returned and it displayed the charger icon inside the battery on the top right. This icon usually signals that the battery is full, but it's still at 77%.

I then disconnected the charger and within minutes it dropped to 8% once again. Then is charged till 24% and stopped.

Is this a battery fault or is it due to the heat of the phone??

Re: F-S1 Battery

Have you recently updated the OS on your phone? If so, it sometimes takes a few days for the phone to adapt so there might actually be more battery power than it says there is. Just carry on as usual until it levels off.

If you didn't update your OS then I've got nothing.

I hope that helps you. Smiley Happy

Re: F-S1 Battery

Hi did u find a solution to this problem? My fone is doing the exact same thing... I've upgraded and downgraded my OS and the same thing is happening.

It will get to bout 50% then drop to 8%, from doing nothing! Charging happens very quick to onnly to fall again... Is it the battery or the phone?
