Facebook problem



I updated my storms facebook app yesterday to Since I did it my phone has been extremely slow and unresponsive. Well like the menu is very slow, when I am writing a message it takes a minute for the text to catch up with my typing, even though when Im pressin the keys they are lighting up as normal. I dont know if it is the facebook app that has caused it but seems likely, as that was all I changed. I tried to downgrade but it wont let be, just keeps taking me to


If anyone has any suggestions that would be great

Greetings, and welcome to the BlackBerry.com Support Forums.


The 1.5.x versions of the Facebook app, after installing, will sync to your address book and calendar in your BlackBerry. It takes some resources and time for that to occur, and can cause initial lag and sluggishness. I would recommend staying with .32, the latest version, as it fixes a couple of bugs in .31. Just the let the FB app finish, it could take 5-10 minutes.


In the FB options, you can also turn off (disable) the calendar and address book sync.

It was yesterday I updated it and it is still running sluggish, I will try turnin off the sync

My storm did the same thing.  I had to pull the battery and do a manual reboot.  After this the facebook app will fully install and you should be up and going normal again.
