Facebook Application Not Working

I just got myself a Torch 9800, had previously been using a Curve 8520 for about a year and I've just managed to get everything from my previous BB onto this, apps included, email accounts. I know there's a problem with the servers with RIM or something so it might just be that but I'm enquiring here just to see if it could be anything else.


It says, whenever I try to log on to the facebook application, that I don't have the data plan to use the application and yet I could use it no bother beforehand on my last phone. I phoned up my service provider, Virgin Media about it and they said that there's nothing wrong with the Data plan, its nothing to do with them, its all fine on their end so I was wondering if It was me, if I was missing something out here.


What do you think seems to be the bother then?
