Facebook & Twitter Icon gone after updating

I recently upgraded my Facebook and Twitter App on my Bold 9780 but after that the two icons have disappeared and I am not able to use both the apps.

I tried reinstalling from App world but all in vain. Please help.

Re: Facebook & Twitter Icon gone after updating

Hello aviralmisra

Welcome to BlackBerry Support Community Forums

If you had already downloaded those applications on your device and unable to find those then please make sure that they are not hidden , but before that Perform a battery pull restart then see if they appear .If not then  for that On your HomeScreen press the Menu key and click on “ Show All Icon“ or “ Unhide Icon “,search for it on your Application folder, IM  olders and even your media folders if you can see it but looks like faded then move your cursor over the icon and press Menu key and click   “unhide “

So please try it and let us know.

Hi and welcome to the forums!

Sometimes the updates are not completely loaded. The best way to verify is by looking for the apps in application manager. If the files are missing as well **bleep** the icon reinstall the application
