Facebook and the internet

I've recently updated my blackberry curve 8520 to the V5 and everything has been working really well. Recently however my internet has stopped working and so has my facebook app, it won't refresh on the homepage and I am not recieving notifications either.

Also, today my internet  stopped working saying everytime that there is a communication error.

 

Is there anything I can do?

Depending on where you are located, you may be getting impacted by the ongoing BIS outage in EMEA.

This has happened to me as well - it only started after my reboot after updating the facebook app.
