I own a BB Torch and I have a big issue with the Facebook app. When I tried to log in to FB I always get a eror message saying "We were unable to log you in (2405)"
I have seen that many other have reported this error on other forums but I did not see any resolutions. Can someone help me as I use my FB app quite a lot. I used to have BB9700 and I upgraded the OS to BB OS6, but did not have any issues with FB.

In Facebook via a PC, go to your Account - Privacy Settings - Applications & Websites and revoke BlackBerry access. Then try logging in from your BlackBerry smartphone.

I have seen many other users posting the same issue on other blackberry forums and no one have given a proper answer / resolution to them!

Hi, I have also got this error.
When you say revoke it do u mean re-add it? Ihave tried everything and it is not working, I have phoned both BB and Vodaphone and had no luck.

Here are the exact steps you will want to follow.
Login to Facebook from a computer
In the top right corner click on Account
Now choose Privacy Settings
In the bottom left where it says Apps and Websites click Edit your settings
To the right of Apps you use click on Edit Settings
Now in the list find Facebook for BlackBerry smartphones
To the far right next to Edit Settings click the X
Once you complete these steps from a computer log back in from your BlackBerry.

This is me Dhushy Again!
I loged out of my FB a few hours ago as i was not abel to connect to my FB Chat. Now it looks that I cannot login ot FB again!!! I am getting the same 2405 error
I tried what you proposed by removing the BB FB app from FB, but still it does not work.
I have been enjoying the new FB app and would love to have it working again. Can you help me out?
