Facebook for Blackberry Storm

I recently updated my storm to 5.0 and everything seemed fine unitl I realisd that I no longer had facebook. The app updater had come up saying that I need to update it, but it doesn't actually let me do it. I have tried uninstalling facebook but now i cannot reinstall it because I am being told that my smartphone does not meet the requirements. My contract gives me unlimited net usage and facebook worked perfectly before the update but I do not understand why now my phone is unable to support facebook. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Facebook for Blackberry Storm

hello,

prior to the 5.0 update, where did you download Facebook from ?

if you downloaded it from AppWorld, then you need to install AppWorld again, then log into MyWorld using your PayPal credentials. You will then be able to re-install all applications & themes that you had installed using AppWorld.

Re: Facebook for Blackberry Storm

This phone is a replacement for my old blackberry strom that was stolen. My original one had a 'browser' button which has been replaced by the old vodafone live button on this phone. When i try to access app world it just tells me to upgrade my service to get browsing capability(which i should already have as a part of my contract). I can still browse on vodafone live but it will not let me download facebook or access app world.

Re: Facebook for Blackberry Storm

okay so you need to fix the fact that you don't have the BlackBerry Browser anymore.

try resending the HR table.

home screen >> options >> advanced >> HRT table >> menu >> send Host Routing Table

you should receive within 5 minutes a message saying that the HRT has been resent to you. Tell us if that is enough for the Browser icon to appear again.
