Faulty device and bad service support

[ Edited ]

This refers to bad experience of Blackberry product and service, which I
had never expected from such a brand.

I had bought Blackberry curve 9360 (IMEI no. 351553056286381) for official
use on 8/12/'12. Only after using one month, the track pad had stopped
working. The phone was given to REDINGTON INDIA LTD., Kolkata for repair on
17/1/'13(work order no. CAL/BB/12/09782), where they told it will take 10
days, as they have to send to Bangalore to get the same repaired. Though it
was hard to do away with office phone, but I had given thinking the same
will be received in 10 days.

But inspite of several visit and several calls, I am yet to get the phone
back. And now the Redington people are telling, they cannot do anything and
I have wait till 14th Feb. '13.

Please note that I am not able to undertake official tour due to lack of
this phone. Hence I need my phone back immediately.

I have such a bad impression of RIM products that I will never buy RIM
products in future and suggest others not to do so.

Its concern that BB do not provide qny support to their users in India. No proper information on website for such complain of bad service.

Re: Faulty device and bad service support

The quality of material used in my Curve 8520 is also bad, the rubber cushion around the phone is coming off, keys are not working. I did not expected such poor quality from a well known brand, many peoples are facing such a quality issue, see below link.
