Fingerprint Scanner Trouble! Bold 9900

I recently downloaded the free version of the fingerprint scanner for blackberries, and i've been locked out of my pone ever since! Does anyone know what i can do, how i can hack into my phone, or delete the app?

 

i know this app works based on how long you hold your finger to the screen, but i have no idea how mch time is selected in the settings. The app just suddenly locked,when i hadnt even changed any of the settings.

 

Please help! this is very frustrating

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

Well, I've never used that, so hopefully this will work for you...I recommend that you attempt to boot into Safe Mode:

  • KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in Safe Mode

It may take you multiple attempts to get the ESC key sequence (press/release/hold) correct, so be patient.
