I looked all over the forums and could not find the answer to this question.
I was at Costco today and the saleman for the Blackberry phones said that if I just put "firmware" into the search field it will bring up a link allowing me to download the latest firmware. I could not find it anywhere.
How do I get firmware for the BB Bold? Can I download the latest firmware directly into my phone?

As er2joe said firmware means the Operating System (OS) of your device.
Check the below link and look for your carrier to get the latest OS/firmware for your device.
