I've juste bought a BB Bold 9900, wich was bought from Vodafone DE i think, and i'm using this phone in Morocco with a Meditel SIM card,
I'm using the v22.214.171.1245 firmware, and i need to know how can i upgrade it to the v7.1,
I've tried to do what is explained on the link below :
- Desktop Software does not propose me to upgrade to the 7.1 version
- The icon Software Update does not exist on my BB's device options
- When trying to update on the web, there is no update available
After some researches i found this link
So the question is,
Would it be possilble to upgrade the firmware i have using my career's one ? and how ?

If your carrier does not yet offer the latest version of OS available, you can download it from any site you see in the list of download sites to which you linked in your post. First, click any carrier in the world then click your device name. If the OS offered is newer than yours, you can download and install it on your phone using the link I've provided below. Just keep choosing different carriers and clicking on your phone model until you find one offering a newer OS than yours. Here are the instructions for loading an OS from a carrier other than your own:
Let us know if that helps you.
