Forgot BlackberryID password and security question answer! HELP!!

I have not yet used my Blackberry ID.  In fact, I don't even remember setting it up, but I must have because when I tried to set it up recently, it said that "A Blackberry ID with this email address already exists."

 

My problem is that I did not write down the Blackberry ID password, nor the answer to the security question...

 

How can I reset my password--but more importantly--my security question?

 

On the phone, if you cannot answer the security question, there is a dialog box that tells you to go to www.blackberry.com/blackberryID to reset your password without having the answer to the security question, but it redirects to https://blackberryid.blackberry.com/bbid/recoverpassword/ which requires you to answer

the security question to reset your password, so I am stuck!

 

On the support “Contact Us” page of the Blackberry website, (http://us.blackberry.com/customer-service/contact-us.html ) in the table of support options, under the column labeled “Call” it says “Phone support unavailable, please see other options) ” but there are NO OTHER OPTIONS that can help if you do not know the answer to your security question!

Read this for instructions to reset your BlackBerryID password:

You have to remember either the BlackBerryID password, or the secret question answer. Without either, you're stuck.
Your choices are:
--Use another email account to create an entirely new BlackBerryID (with which you will lose access to any purchased apps using the "forgotten" first BlackBerryID, or
--Find the initial email you were sent to confirm the initial BlackBerryID, and in it is a link to click to cancel and delete the account. Click on that, delete the account and then you can use that same email to create an entirely new account.

I just deleted the old, original account.  Any idea on how long I need to wait before I re-created that account?

(it usually takes some time for things to be processed, even in cyber space!).

 

Also, I hate typing on my phone.  Can I set the new Blackberry ID up from my computer, on Blackberry.com?

 

Thanks again for the help.  Nobody else even knew to suggest deleting the original ID.  I could find no "Offical" help anywhere, and I find it hard to believe that I am the first one that this has ever happened to.

 

There needs to be better, official blackberry support on this issue (so much for my 15 seconds on my sopa box!)

You deleted the account from the original confirmation email? I'd give it a day.

Per you official support comment... there is one very simple way to get direct support from a BlackBerry support team member.

1) call your carrier hotline
2) explain them your problem
3) let them work with it, and acknowledge they cannot solve your issue
4) demand to have your issue escalated, at no charge for you, to the Blackberry Level2 support
5) a BlackBerry employee will contact you and work your issue out

Remember, step4 is what your carrier owes you. You pay them every month for that.

When i try to reset my blackberry ID it says that it is a invalid username so i cant use my phone and even if i use another ID my blackberry protect is on (Anti-Theft), please help

Pls...I have the same problem here as John. But I really can't find the said link in the initial e-mail.
What else can I do apart from setting up another ID?
And honestly, my security question is just absurd. It asks "who are you?"
Apparently, I don't know who I am anymore.
