Frozen / Texting

I'm not sure of all the terminology to use, so forgive me, but I'm having problems with my Torch. I cannot access my text messages. The "Text Messages" icon, when highlighted, does nothing - I can't touch it on the touchpad or use the mouse to open it. If someone sends me a text, I can respond via the upper quick menu, but only if I have not already tried to access the main texting option (when I do, the phone completely freezes and does nothing).


Help, please!

Remove your battery while the phone is powered on.  After a minute, replace it.  It sounds simple but that seems to do the trick most of the time.  You can also browse AppWorld for apps that will simulate a battery pull without you having to pull the battery.
