Full Security Swipe using Desktop Manager?

I have a 9780 where the trackpad and display do not respond to. The screen works and I can see everything however I can not access anything so I thought to do a security swipe and start fresh to see if that helps. How do I do this from Desktop Manager seeing that I can not access this function on the phone.

Hi cdollinger,

Welcome to the Support Community!

You can reset your BlackBerry® Bold™ 9900 smartphone to factory defaults using the BlackBerry® Desktop Software. This KB article has the steps. "How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory settings using BlackBerry Desktop Software" http://bbry.lv/TYU5om

This will remove all personal data so I would recommend backing up first.

Hope this helps.
