Fully working keyboard lock?!

When I am using the keylock mode or the standby mode, the phone is still able to turn off by long pressing the End-Call Button!

 

Is there a way to fix this? I often got a turned off phone in my pocket :I

Really not in my bold, try resetting the device, with the phone turn on, take out the battery for 30 seconds and reinstall it again, let me know.

 

If this not fix the problem, please post your software device, go to menu, options, about

This can't be changed. This is BlackBerry default.

Not in my device, i lock the keyboard and press the red button for 60 seconds, the led turn off, but not the device, why?

I have the new Firmware v4.6.0.216 (Platform 4.0.0.183) installed on my bold...

 

Mine turns off after 4 to 5 seconds pressing the End button while in keylock mode.

When I short press it, it shows the "Keypad is locked" animation and when I keep pressing the button it says "(!) Turning Handheld off..." afterwards I just have to hit the button again and it comes back, but I have to retype my PIN and searches for network etc.

 

Maybe it's a branding bug? Mainly it is coming from Orange, but I unlocked it.

Really i don't know because you have the same problem that Tanzim, try upgrading the device if you want.

Very strange... A few other people from the crackberry board have the same issue on the latest firmware release.

But I can't say if it was there before updating my device Smiley Embarassed

 

Any admin around? Please fix this Smiley Very Happy
