GPS Navigation Question

Hi all,

I was a fond user of Windows Mobile devices for a long time.

I now recently switched over to Blackberry.

I must say that I am very pleased so far, and that I was afraid for nothing to make the switch.

But I keep getting stuck on 1 thing.

I am ussed to use my device for navigation quite often, and I can not find a decent app that can suite my needs.

Who can give me an advice what to use, I am ussed to work with TOMTOM.

But they do not have and BB version I believe.

I can find information about Wayfinder Navigation, but I see nobody who has made comments about this.

I would appriciate anny suggestion.

Re: GPS Navigation Question

Hi and welcome to the forums!

If you aren't needing the voice turn by turn I would recommend Google maps.

It's free and uses GPS as well as cell phone towers to triangulate your position.

You also can search for locations and business.

Try Garmin for a full function application designed for Blackberry.

Thanks,

Re: GPS Navigation Question

Two free ones that work great are:

I've used both the the turn by turn directions are good. I settled on amAze becuse I like the interface better and Nav4All isn't going to be free always.
