GPS on the 8120

Does the Blackberry Pearl 8120 come with GPS?.....If not, can it be added?....If yes, how do you activate it?

Re: GPS on the 8120

Go to Options>Advanced Options> GPS - Does it have any info or settings in there?

If yes, well then you have a built in GPS. You should be able to download a thirdparty software app from your carrier if they support GPS with that device.

Otherwise, if there is no built in GPS, you wont be able to use it as one.

BlackBerry 8120 doesn't come with any GPS facility. It comes with WiFi.

Re: GPS on the 8120

I have a Blackberry 8110 and am trying to set up the GPS. It is GPS enabled. I understand from a prior post I need GPS software. I have checked Vodaphone website and I don't see any for download there. Does anyone have any suggestions of good GPS software to download and where to find it? I am new to the UK and need GPS to help me find my way!! around.

Hi ennaid46

BlackBerry Maps comes with the BlackBerry and you can use GPS with that (when in BB maps, hit the menu key and select start GPS).  There are other 3rd party GPS apps available as well, I use Garmin Mobile, not sure how much it costs to purchase.  Please note that your carrier can actually restrict your GPS funcitonality on your device (although I don't believe Vodafone does, but I could be wrong there)
