Generic 8310 Software Downgrade

One of my customers has an 8310 which we recently supplied them with. They want the software downgrading to 4.2 from 4.5 as the user knows any 4.5 8310 will not work as well as he wants.

The computer I would be using to do this has never had a curve attached to it.

How do I go about doing this??

(By Generic i mean one that is not logged to any network)

Thanks in advance.

Tom
