I got a notification that I have a Blackberry Messenger invitation (signified by the smily face at the top of my screen), but when I go to "push to talk" (which I believe is where the blackberry messenger is located) it tells me "PTT Service Not Available, please contact AT&T."
This phone is for my work, so it would seem that they did not pay for that plan, which is fine...but how do I now get rid of the smiley face? What options do I have? It seems petty, but its rather annoying.
Thanks in advance.

Push to talk is not the Blackberry messenger application.
You need to select the Blackberry messenger application on the handset applications screen.
If you dont use and dont want the icon the you can go to Options - Advanced options - Applications.
Select the Blackberry messenger and Click menu key and delete. Hard reset and it will disappear.
