Re: Getting Error "HTTP ERROR 404"

Hi,

This is the standard internet error for a nonexistent page.

What do you use for browser configuration? For a mobile site I use Blackberry.

Can you give me an example of a link that isn't working for you and I will check?

Thanks,

Welcome to the forums gauravdhingra Smiley Happy

I get errors sometimes too. First thing I try if that happens is go to "Manage Connections" and turn "Mobile Network" to "off"...wait a minute and then turn it back on. Try again. If that doesn't work try pulling out your battery for a few seconds, reinsert it and let the phone reboot for a few minutes.

Hi,

As usual Kijanasmart with some great ideas.  Heck, he has smart in his name!

I tried your link with IE, FireFox and Blackberry Browser, no problems.

Do you have a data plan? Is it just Google, or do other websites do this as well?

Thanks,

You give me too much credit Bifocals, not that I mind Smiley Wink lol!

gauravdhingra:
Just so we are clear, did you try the battery pull and turning off and on the mobile network?
And are you able to load other apps from the BB Browser other than gmail apps?

Re: Getting Error "HTTP ERROR 404"

Hi one other question,

Just for these installation apps, open the browser, browser configuration, unchecked terminate slow running scripts.

I have my home page as Google, I wonder if that would help as well.

Let us know how it goes!
