you can download Blackberry Media Sync for free. Then you'll be able to synchronize your iTunes music playlists.
It's here : Blackberry Media Sync .
Concerning the listening quality, the speaker lacks a bit of bass, but once you plug earbuds, th quality is more than average, meaning better than an iPod.Usability is different though, since there is not the clicky wheel like on the iPods.

Also, when I drag and drop from Itunes some of my songs don't transfere over. I got about 20 of the 40-some songs I tried to copy over.
I don't use iTunes so I don't know how performant the iTunes drag'n'drop is.
I suggest you :

Okay, here's a new twist on this problem. My IT folks have disabled the "Mass Storage Mode" option because, well, I don't know, it's a feature that just might be useful. Is it possible to format a MicroSD card with the Blackberry device, take the card out, plug it into my computer using a separate USB adapter, and transfer music files using Windows explorer? Just looking for a good workaround here.

I would suggest opening this as a different thread. This is a resolved thread, and you will get many more users to see your post if you open a different thread. More folks means more options!

Hi there -- I have a brand new Blackberry Curve (with an 8GB media card) and am trying to transfer my iTunes songs to it using Media Sync. The sync seems to go fine, but when completed there are no songs on the Curve! The Media Sync interface thinks I have 620 songs tranferred, but the Curve's Media module says "No Songs".
Inside "Options" under "Media Card" on the Curve I have it set as follows:
Media Card Support = On
Encryption Mode = Off
Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected = On
The display below these options says "The Media Card is not available because Mass Storage Mode is currently is use."
Any help much appreciated!
