Giving up Q10 and going back to Torch

Hi everybody

I've finally cracked (like the screen on my Q10) and I'm dusting off my faithful old 9800 Torch. I did try my best to get on with the Q10 but it's just not working.

The thing is, how do I sync all my stuff from the Q10 to the Torch?

Any help would be much appreciated :-)

Why are you going backwards?

You can sync your contacts and calendar to your computer through BlackBerry Link and sync those contacts to your Bold.

You won't be able to move other data just contacts if I'm correct.

Re: Giving up Q10 and going back to Torch

Because I just don't get on with the Q10. I miss the trackpad and the call buttons and the whole set-up is counter-intuitive (to me anyway). The final straw came when I dropped it and the screen cracked. It could just have been an awkward landing but I didn't expect it to be so fragile as I'd dropped my Torch hundreds of times and it just kept going.

I tried using BlackBerry Link but it said it doesn't support OS7 and I would have to download BlackBerry Desktop. I did so and that in turn doesn't recognise the Q10...

Re: Giving up Q10 and going back to Torch

You can't sync from the Q10 to the 9800.

You can sync from the Q10 to Outlook, using Link.

And then, from your Outlook, using the Desktop Software, you can sync Outlook to the 9800.

Or, You need down load some separate app like Intouch Contacts from AppWorld, which I believe works on both the Q10 and 9800, install on both devices and backup and restore contact data that way.
