Gmail "sent" messages forward to my BB etc..

[ Edited ]
Is anyone else having problems with copies of sent messages being sent to their BB? Every time I send a message from my Gmail account, a copy is sent to my BB. I'm also getting a read receipt and "delivered" confirmation with Gmail and my Hotmail account. What the heck!? It's driving me nuts!Smiley Happy ANyone know how to turns this stuff off or why it's happening?

I do still wonder about all the "read receipts" and "Delivered" confirmations.  Any ideas?

I am having the same problem. It seemed to happen as soon as I switched to the bb curve. I can't figure out how to stop it. The weird thing is that the delivered messages and read receipt messages only appear in my gmail inbox. They never get delivered to my BB.

I created a filter in Gmail to capture these "read" and "delivered" notifications and set them to be marked as read and to skip the inbox.  You can also have gmail just delete them via a filter.

Thanks! How do you stop them all together and why is it happening?

Re: Gmail "sent" messages forward to my BB etc..

Very simple really: in gmail go to "settings", "filters", then leave the "From" box blank.  In the "To" section place your gmail address, and finally in the "Subject" line you type "Read" and/or "Delivered" (if you do both, you must make two separate filters).  Then you select where you want these "Delivered and Read" messages to go (delete, skip inbox and archive etc.) and click "create this filter".  There is even a test to see what messages presently in your inbox would go under this filtration.  You're done!  No more pesky "Read" and "Delivered" emails to your gmail inbox or BlackBerry device.  Technology is so cool isn't it?
