Google Apps account not recognized as a google account - BIS sync function not available

My Google Apps account (ending in "@gadz.org", NOT in "@gmail.com") is not recognized as a Gmail account by my BB9700.

As a result the calendar and contact synchronization options are not available for this account (using BIS, NOT BES)

I used Google sync so far, and was quite happy with it. Unfortunately it's not working any more, and I'm screwed.

I have read some folks have had their Google Apps domain recognized by RIM as a Gmail account, how can this be achieved?

Re: Google Apps account not recognized as a google account - BIS sync function not available

Sorry you're having trouble with this.  Can you check with the carrier first to see what they can suggest?

I was thinking about you removing google sync from your blackberry if you haven't done so and try to readd the email account  this way:  from the device go to blackberry.com/integrate
and see if you can setup your email from there...but check with the carrier first.  I'm not familiar with your carrier so I can't provide the BIS site to manage your email account.

Example: http://www.mobileemail.vodafone.fr/ but I don't know if this is your carrier, that's why I suggest calling them first.
