To whom it may concern:
I have recently figured out how to update my contacts using gsync. However, there is a problem. When I edited my contacts on my Google acct, nothing changes on my phone. How do I do that? In other words, is there something called google contacts synchronization to bb? Please advise, thx.

indeed, the previous link does not work because the article has been removed by RIM.
Here are two additional links:
KB19269 What is Google Mail contact synchronization
KB19271 How to disable Google Mail contact synchronization
the second one also gives indication on how to enable that sync.
