The error i got was 0015 - which is a file system error. I followed all the steps on how to resolve such an error from the Knowledge Base, however, nothing seems to work.

Specifically, which steps did you follow? What errors did you get?

Did you succeed in reloading the OS? If not, what failed?

You have to understand, vague statements like "nothing seems to work" tells me nothing on what direction to go to help you. I don't know what failed.

And snarky comments like "my last BlackBerry", I don't care. If you need help here, be nice. My New Year's resolution is not to help people who cowardly sit behind their computer and and make snide comments while seeking help from volunteers such we are here.

So back on topic. What didn't work?

Dude, we aren't "at BlackBerry". This is a user-to-user community support forum. We are not RIM employees, but volunteers who enjoy assisting other users. RIM personnel rarely comment on queries posted here. You would have noticed this in the message upon registration.

And, you'll see this at top of EACH page of this forum:

Re: HELP .......BB ERROR 0015 REPAIR

It said that you need to download latest version of Blackberry Link, which i did - for Mac. Thereafter I connected my phone to the Link and clicked on reload. It took like 3 hours to download software - but when it came to actually installing it, it failed. The LED light was constant green throughout the download of software. When it came to installing, it then flickered (still green) and then message came, try again later. I did that for an entire day. I then uninstalled the Blackberry Link and cleared my caches, thereafter reinstalling it, but to no avail. It was then i tried autoloaders, and those too are getting me nowhere.

Re: HELP .......BB ERROR 0015 REPAIR

OK, we're getting somewhere.

Which autoloaders did you try, specifically?

And what error(s)?

Have you called Vodacom South Africa, the last and final suggestion in the KB article?

Re: HELP .......BB ERROR 0015 REPAIR

I have tried the following autoloaders: Autoloader.Z10.STL-1.OS10.2.0.1803 and also Autoload-STL100-1-10.1.0.1485. The errors i get with the autoloader is that the device cannot be communicated to - i think it was an error such 000-00F.

I went to Vodacom SA repairs today, and was told since the phone was not purchased from them, they cannot help me.

Re: HELP .......BB ERROR 0015 REPAIR

Look at this link here:  http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-10-OS-Device-Software/Upgrading-OS10-devices-using...

Look to this line and download this file:  For Z10 model STL100-1: Download the 10.2.0.1803

Now, try it on a different PC. The autoloader files won't work on a Mac. You need a Windows PC.
