Re: HELP! Deleting Contacts ALL AT ONCE!

At once: connect the USB cable to your PC > open the BlackBerry Desktop Software > Device > Remove data > Selective data > and click ONLY on the Address Book data. And proceed from there.

Desktop Manager, or Desktop Software? I don't have it, I have to download both or one. I don't know.

Another question, how did you add that twitter link at as your signature ?

I would recommend Desktop Manager, version 6. Download Desktop Manager from here:

Re: HELP! Deleting Contacts ALL AT ONCE!

Oh ok, I got the 5.0.1 Desktop Manager, I am still confused, what I want to delete is just my email contacts and keep my phone contacts, so I don't know what to do. I have backed up my files, but they can't be open once I back them up on my computer, I got Windows XP Professional.

Re: HELP! Deleting Contacts ALL AT ONCE!

I think you have synchonize your contacts from your email address. Just go to Setup -> Email Accounts -> Choose internet mail account (assuming that it's your personal email)  -> click on your email address -> edit -> scroll to the bottom and you'll see a synchronizing options -> uncheck the contacts

Hope it helps =)

Re: HELP! Deleting Contacts ALL AT ONCE!

@MRNC what do you mean to delete just your email contacts and keep your phone contacts? Van you please explain that? Do you not have contacts entered such as "John Smith" with both a phone number and an email address? Or would you have John Smith listed in your addereas book twice, once witn a phone number and a second entry with his email address?

Re: HELP! Deleting Contacts ALL AT ONCE!

@JSanders, I did it already, I wanted to delete just my email contacts that I syncherised accidently onto my phone, and keep my phone contacts, I used Desktop Manager, backed up files up, cleared it and then re-added my contacts and that was it.
