HELP! Desktop sync issue

I have recently upgraded my laptop and reloaded the desktop manager so i could sync my music. With my old computer I was able to sync my iTunes playlists with my Bold 9900 but now Desktop Manager won't recognize the playlists. It has playlists in the list that aren't in my iTunes. Any ideas how to remove the playlists are currently in the desktop manager and have it recognize my iTunes again.
